All services provided by Ready4 Studios are subject to the following terms and conditions.

Quotes & Contracts

Any quote issued is valid for 30 days. Upon request, at any time a new contract or quote may be drawn up.

Charges & Fees

Ready4 Studios has three different payment types. Any web design project whose costs exceed $1,000 CAD will have the total cost divided into three equal payments. At the time the contract is signed, 1/3 of the total cost will be required as a deposit. Another 1/3 of the payment will be payable when the design plan has been accepted. The last 1/3 payment is payable when the web design project has been completed and accepted, prior to it’s internet release.

For any web design project that costs from $400 to $1000, a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the project will be billed at the time the contract is signed with the remaining 50% being due when the web design project has been completed and accepted, prior to it’s internet release. Ready4 Studios requires full payment at the time the contract is signed for any web design project less than $400.

A $35 fee will be charged for any check payments that do not clear. Besides content and graphics that were provided by the client, Ready4 Studios has the right to hold any project development/design, any graphic content and may pull content from the site until payment has been received for those items.

Hours of Operation

Monday to Friday: 9am to 5pm (Excluding Holidays)

If you require after hours assistance our standard rate of $40 per hour will be applied as well as an additional After Hours Charge at $30 per hour.

Web Site Design Credit

Ready4 Studios would like to place a link on your website in the footer area back to http://www.ready4studios.com. Other arrangements can be made if the client wishes to have it removed.

Copyright & Ownership

Software and third party graphics or programs are not transferred to the client and remain under copyright of their respective owners.

Ready4 Studios Web Design reserves the right to resell custom designed web sites that remain unpaid by the original client, unaccepted mockups or other graphics created by Ready4 Studios Web Design but not in legal use by the client.

Ready4 Studios Web Design reserves the right to display websites and graphics that have been designed by Ready4 Studios on their website, and in any marketing material to aid as examples of our work.

Refunds

After a contract has been signed and the mandatory deposit has been paid, all requests to terminate services need to be submitted in writing to Ready4 Studios.

Ready4 Studios requires a deposit before we begin work on any project. A request to terminate services must be presented to Ready4 Studios in writing.

Refund Amounts will be calculated in the following ways:

If a project has been booked, but is cancelled before the start date for the project, a cancellation fee of 20% of the deposit will be retained.

If a project is cancelled after the start date and is in the design process, a cancellation fee of 30% of the deposit will be retained.

If the design has been completed and accepted by the client, but the development process has yet to begin, a design fee of $250 will be retained. Once this is paid, the design will be released for the clients use.

If a project is cancelled while in the development process, time spent on that project will be billed an hourly rate of $40 per hour. If the amount of time put into the project exceed that of the deposit paid, Ready4 Studios will bill the difference to the client. Once all fees are paid, all work completed will be released for the clients use.

Any refund amount that is owed, based on the refund terms and conditions above, will be completed within 30 days of the clients request.

Hosting, SSL and domain services are not eligible for refunds since these are resold for a larger company. If there are any issues with the hosting services that are provided, contact Ready4 Studios to work out a solution.

Development & Delivery

Ready4 Studios understands the importance of completing projects in a timely manner. We agree to complete the web design project within 60 days from the date of contract signing. If the client does not supply Ready4 Studios with complete text, graphic content and other requested materials for the contracted client within 30 days of contract signing, the contract becomes void and all deposits paid by the client are forfeited. The client may request a Project Extension in writing to Ready4 Studios for an additional fee of 20% of the project total cost for every 30 days of extension. All extension fees are due upon agreement of the extension between Ready4 Studios and the client.

Non-Communication

If while completing the design and development processes of a project Ready4 Studios is unable to communicate with the client for a period of at least 30 days by phone or email, the project will be terminated without prior notification and no refund will be issued.

Liability

Services purchased from Ready4 Studios are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind that the web design project will be uninterrupted or error free. In no event shall Ready4 Studios be liable to the client for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of the website, services, and/or goods provided to the client. This includes, without limitation, lost profits, business interruption, loss of data or other losses directly resulting from the use of the website, services, and/or goods provided to the client. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the web site is with the client.

International Customers

International customers are welcome. With no exceptions, any customers outside of Canada are required by Ready4 Studios to pay the full payment prior to beginning work on a project. This is non-negotiable.

Project Consideration

We will not accept projects that we find morally questionable, unethical, or distasteful.

Acceptance

Once a down payment is received for services, you are agreeing to the terms of services provided.

Ready4 Studios reserves the right to change or update these terms of service at any time without prior notice.
